A third-generation member of the Anabtawi family, founders of Al Arz Ice Cream, one of Palestine’s most iconic and enduring brands, Saed grew up understanding that ice cream was never simply a product. It was a promise. A standard. A responsibility passed from one generation to the next, and one he carries with both pride and purpose.
With over 25 years of hands-on industry experience, Saed brings a rare combination to AFI’s leadership: the technical depth of a Mechanical Engineer and the strategic vision of a seasoned business leader. His philosophy is straightforward and proven, that operational excellence is not achieved through systems alone, but through people who understand what they are building and why it matters. Strong communication, deep operational knowledge, and a relentless commitment to continuous improvement have defined his career and shaped the culture he builds around him.
As Managing Partner at Anabtawi Food Industries, Saed plays a central role in defining AFI’s long-term strategy and translating it into operational reality. He has been instrumental in embedding lean manufacturing principles across the facility, driving machine efficiency, minimising waste, and ensuring that every product leaving AFI’s Dubai Industrial City plant meets the uncompromising quality standards the Anabtawi name has always demanded.
But beyond the metrics and the machinery, what drives Saed is something more personal, a love of innovation, a deep commitment to family values, and a belief that business, when done right, creates genuine social value for the communities it serves.
