Chief Financial Officer & Executive Committee Member
Samer Al Isis brings over 26 years of C-level leadership to Anabtawi Food Industries, a career defined by strategic clarity, financial rigour, and the rare ability to build institutions that endure.
A seasoned executive who has held CEO and CFO roles across multinational organisations, Samer has led complex business transformations, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, and governance initiatives across the Manufacturing, Retail, Luxury FF&E, Fit-Out, Trading, Construction, and Financial Services sectors. His track record spans multiple markets across the Middle East and North Africa, where he has built high-performing teams and translated ambitious strategy into measurable, sustainable growth.
What distinguishes Samer is the breadth of both his experience and his academic formation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, an MBA from Hult International Business School, dual Master’s degrees in Luxury Management from SDA Bocconi and ESSEC Business School, and a Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Oxford’s Saïd Business School, a foundation that equips him to navigate complexity with both depth and perspective.
At AFI, Samer plays a central role in shaping the company’s financial vision, governance architecture, and long-term strategic direction. As a member of the Executive Committee, he works alongside the founding leadership to ensure that AFI’s ambitious growth plans are built on solid financial foundations, sound institutional structures, and the operational discipline required to compete at a regional level.
His leadership supports AFI’s mission to become a benchmark of excellence in food manufacturing across the GCC, combining the heritage of a 75-year family legacy with the innovation, integrity, and scale of a world-class modern enterprise.
